Voucher Programs
Our voucher programs allow recipients to rent with private landlords. The recipient pays 30% of their monthly adjusted gross income to the landlord, and Lewiston Housing pays the difference in rent. To apply for our voucher programs, complete an application on the Maine Centralized Waitlist.
Lewiston Housing Pre-Application for Rental Housing
To apply for our rental housing, please click on the link for the property you are interested in. Once you create an account, you can copy your application and apply to more than one property. All of our rental housing currently has a waiting list. Wait times can vary between 1 – 5 years depending on unit size and location.

Eligibility: Head of household must be 62 or older or disabled; rent is based on 30% of adjusted gross income
