Lewiston Housing is pleased to announce the availability of our draft administrative plan for the Housing Choice Voucher Program. We invite all interested community members to review the plan on our website.

We will hold a public meeting to discuss the draft plan on August 20, 2025, at noon EST at 86 Lisbon Street, Lewiston, ME.

We encourage community feedback and welcome written comments over the next 45 days. All public comments should be in writing and received by 5:00 PM EST on September 29, 2025. Comments can be emailed, mailed, or hand delivered to:

The Administrative Plan addresses both Tenant Based Vouchers and Project Based Vouchers. Following U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines, Lewiston Housing must offer opportunities for resident and public comment whenever changes are made to the Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan. The Lewiston Housing Board of Commissioners will vote on the plan on September 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
